Today we went to Shear Mandess, a cabaret where there is acting done where a bar is but with the mix of a bar and acting to get that laid back and loose environment in a crowd. I thought that was something really cool because it gets away from the traditional strict ways of normal theatre. We also saw the Blue Man Group theatre where they are based in Boston. That was also very interesting to see since they have their own set up and design in the theatre and stage and they won't have to worry about having other people coming in to perform something else. We went and saw the Wilbur theatre. That was the normal theatre where there are strict guidelines to follow during shows and where the broadway scene really comes in. I liked all theatres for they really showed the variety the Boston Theatre District has.

My favorite part of touring the theater district was being back in the blue man group theather in Charles theater. I think it is probably one of the most creative spaces I have ever seen in my life. There is also the production Sheer Madness which has been running for over 20 years. We also made a quick stop at the hotel where the hi jackers of 911 stayed at in the U.S.

the visit to the theatre where shear madness and the blue man group, are performed was a great learning experience. the differnt stage set-ups were each amazing.

and speaking to Michael Fennimore about his work with shear madness, was a great oppurtunity to learn about working with a show for a long peroid of time in different environments.

our trips to different areas in boston was a ton of fun.

walking down the street and seeing street performers, was amazing. some times people would stop and donate, other times they would simply walk by. i feel that everyone in our group was great in this area and contributed at least some of there time to the performers.

Today we went to the museum of fine arts and saw a few of the exibits. I didn't really like the japanese exibit because it seemed like every picture was the same. We also got to go back stage on some sets which was interesting.

During this process we saw the crazy guy three times. It was as if we were followed by him. He was telling us we were going to go to hell. Yeah, he was crazy!@

I really liked checking out all the theaters especially the shear madness one. It seems like the actors have a lot of fun on their set and doing what they do best. I also thought it was exciting when he took us backstage and showed us all the actors who used to act there.
