Can a song save the world? Many artists have used their work to bring attention to issues of social justice. Just think about Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and Ani Difranco. All have used their music to shed light on major problems that they perceived in the world around them. Peace. Racial equality. Poverty.
This year, the JUA group will use their time in Boston to create a piece of art that they hope will help save the world, or at least make it a little better. Boston is a great place to do research and seek out inspiration. What can you do to make the world a better place? Keep checking in with this blog to see what NHS students/artists are creating to do their part.
